Located between the historic St Andrews cathedral ruins and the harbour, Shorehead is only a few minutes walk from the centre of the ancient town of St Andrews with its many shops, pubs and restaurants interspersed with the many buildings of the 600 year old University of St Andrews.
Parking can be a problem in St Andrews but not at 8 Shorehead which has its own garage for your use.
This makes it an ideal base for your holiday, whether you are here for the famous golf courses or for touring the picturesque and scenic county of Fife or further afield.
St Andrews is world-famous as the home of golf with its many golf courses but within just a few miles there are also the courses at Kingsbarns, Lundin Links, Ladybank and many more.
Motorsport? Knockhill, Crail and Cowdenbeath are within minutes.
Other sports? Sailing, tennis, bowling, ten-pin bowling, gliding, falconry, swimming, water-skiing, fishing (sea, river and loch), walking, curling, clay target shooting, archery and many other activity sports are all in this area.
In St Andrews there are also the St Andrews Botanic Garden and the St Andrews Heritage Museum, both well worth a visit!
Also in Fife are Deep Sea World, Scotland’s ancient capital of Dunfermline, the royal palace at Falkland, Loch Leven and its island castle where Mary Queen of Scots was held captive.
